We are bummed, too, Bonnie. When The Villages brought in new management for the Brownwood Farmer's Market on February 1, they told us they would no longer honor any agreement we had with them previously to connect to electrical power, and also relocated us off the market square at the end of the street. A generator that is powerful enough to run all of our equipment and also meet the "whisper quiet" requirement is over $2,500, too much for us to recover from when we are selling coffee for $2 a cup! In addition, The Villages would not allow us to participate in any of their other events because of their contract with Dunkin Donuts. So, sadly, we could read the writing on the wall and are looking for other opportunities to set up and serve our loyal customers which we miss so much. We are still making our personal weekly and local deliveries of fresh roasted coffee beans and serving our commercial accounts, and we will post on our website any special event locations where we will be making an appearance. We hope to see you again soon. Thanks so much for your support!

Rumor has it that you will no longer be at the Brownwood Farmer's Market in The Villages. Something about the need for a generator is what I was told. I'm so bummed.....

I'm from the mountains of the Appalachians. Just passing thru on the "bike" and thought I'd stop for a cup of coffee as my butt needed the rest. Coffee was so good I thought I'd buy a pound to take home. Now I need to setup regular delivery schedules so I don't go through withdrawals. Thanks guys.

Thank you so much for posting your comments on the Bean Together webpage. I am delighted you like the East Timor espresso roast and look forward to being your coffee go-to source! Like you, we are obviously coffee fanatics and believe in buying locally from our neighbors, too. Me, or my partner CP, hope to see you at the Brownwood Farmers Market again soon.

I have a passion for coffee.I buy whole beans and grind them. It is what I am always asked to bring to a gathering or people request when they come to my home. I have moved to Florida and right now have my coffee beans delivered from a roaster in Lewes DE. I was delighted to find you at the farmers market at Brownwood in The Villages. I bought some of the East Timor and it truly is the best expresso I have made. Before this discovery, I have had to stock up on expresso beans sent from another roaster in Rockville MD. I love that it is organic. I am so glad to have this great coffee source close by.
